About

Pocket Fjord started as a group chat where four friends kept sending each other screenshots of weird little games they'd found. At some point the list got too long to track, so we built a site around it. That's the whole origin story — no studio backing, no grand mission statement.,We care about indie and small-studio mobile games across every genre. A tiny racer made by two people in a garage sitting next to a sprawling pocket RPG — that mix is the point. We don't chase the big franchise releases that already have a thousand reviews.,How a game ends up here is simple: someone on the team plays it for at least a few hours, usually more. We note the controls, how it feels on a cracked old phone and a newer one, whether it nags you to come back constantly. Then we write it up in plain language.,Nothing here is sponsored. If a developer sends us a code, we'll mention we got one, but it changes nothing about the score. We'd rather be useful than popular.
