Neon Switchback
★★★★☆ 4.1
Neon Switchback is pure arcade racing — no sim pretensions, just drifting through rain-slick neon streets at absurd speed. You steer by tilting or with on-screen touch zones, and both work, though tilt felt better once I got used to it. The whole thing is built around the drift, and nailing a long slide around a hairpin is genuinely thrilling.
Tracks loop and twist with plenty of shortcuts to memorise, and the sense of speed is strong without turning into a blur. The soundtrack is all synth and it fits perfectly. My only gripe is that the car roster is a bit thin at the start.
Short races make it ideal for commutes. It's the kind of game you keep opening for one more run that turns into five.
