The Hollow Lantern
The Hollow Lantern is a slow, atmospheric adventure where you explore a deserted town full of stopped clocks and quiet mysteries. You tap to move, tap to examine, and slowly piece together what happened here. There's no combat, no timers — just curiosity pulling you from room to room.
The art is gorgeous in a hand-painted, slightly melancholy way, and the sound design does a lot of work with creaks, drips and distant chimes. Puzzles are logical and tied to the story rather than dropped in as filler. I got stuck once, wandered off, and the solution clicked the moment I came back, which is exactly how this genre should feel.
It's a few hours long and best played with headphones late at night. One of the most quietly memorable mobile games I've played this year.
